QuestsFu is a full quest log replacement. Although it once depended on FuBar, it is now capable of running without it.
The general philosophy behind QuestsFu is control. You should see what you want to see, how you want to see it. If you don't want to see something, it shouldn't cause any performance issues while disabled. If you want minimalism, you can have it.
As such, QuestsFu uses a modular system. With all modules disabled, QuestsFu provides a basic quest log display.
[2007-07-30] QuestsFu was recently the subject of an Addon Spotlight at WOW Insider.
Modules
Detail
This module truly makes QuestsFu a quest log replacement. It provides a detail panel for quests, showing the full descriptive text, along with rewards, progress, and options to share or abandon the quest.
Tracker
Replacing the default quest tracker can only be considered a Good Thing. With this enabled the tracker becomes colored (via the same scheme as the main QuestsFu window), sorts the quests sensibly, remembers watched quests between sessions, and can automatically watch quests based on a number of conditions.
Notify
It's good to know when your party members are done with their quests, and this helps with that. Sadly, it can only provide data for others who use an addon that embeds Quixote-1.0.
Announce
In the event that nobody you're grouping with isn't using QuestsFu, they might want to be informed when you finish your quest objectives. Amazingly, this module will do that, announcing completions in party chat. Disabled by default to avoid annoying people.
Givers
Simple enough: remembers who gave you your quests. By itself this module displays nothing -- but when paired with Detail or Blizz it adds the information to relevant places.
Blizz
This module spruces up the default UI in a few places, adding quest levels to NPC dialogs and the quest log, and reminding you who gave a quest in the default quest log.
Comments
Adds a frame displaying comments from WoWHead if you have LightHeaded installed.
Tooltips
Displays objective completion in the tooltip when you mouse over a quest mob or item.
Sound
Plays sounds on quest objective completion and quest completion.
